Can I get enough tocotrienols from food?Updated 21 days ago

Tocotrienols are found in palm oil, rice bran, wheat germ, and certain plant oils — but in relatively modest amounts, and dietary intake is highly dependent on food patterns that most people don't follow consistently. Annatto, the source used for DeltaGold®, is primarily a spice used in Latin American and Caribbean cooking and is not a meaningful dietary source for most people outside those culinary traditions.

Even among people eating a varied, whole-food diet, tocotrienol intake tends to be low and inconsistent. The alpha-tocopherol dominant Vitamin E in fortified foods and most supplements doesn't fill this gap — it's a different compound class with different activity. For the delta and gamma tocotrienol benefits specifically, supplementation is the practical path for most people.
